Coventry jest niepodobne do monotonnych angielskich miast z czerwonej cegły. 14 listopada 1940 Luftwaffe zrównało miasto z ziemią. Anglicy wiedzieli o zamiarach Niemców dzięki enigmie, jednak nie ewakuowali miasta, żeby nie zdradzić, że złamali szyfr.

17 october 2009 - Coventry (UK) – Museum of Road Transport. This museum in central Coventry is definitely worth a visit for any petrol-head (and it’s free). It has examples of nearly every type of car, bus and truck ever built in the region, including this Maudslay Marathon, a petrol-engined luxury coach of the 1950s. A bit different to the Bova I showed just a moment ago! The ‘half-cab’ design is typical of the period. I don’t expect you will ever see another bus of this make on TWB………

17 october 2009 - Coventry (UK) – Fairfax Street. A surprising find outside the Coventry Transport Museum was this long-distance coach on its way to Ireland. As it isn’t marked in Polonia Transport colours, I guess it’s hired from another operator in the Lublin area.
