6 october 2007 - Togliatti, Technical museum. This bus, called "Progress-9", is built at the Soviet army factory in DDR - there were Soviet engineers and German workers. This headquarters' complex, designed for the Soviet army generals, is the only one "Progress" bus of old type, known in Russia. There is a comfortable conference-room inside of bus and the special living trailer with toilet, shower and a little sleeping room. Unfortunately, this bus isn't restored and used by the museum stuff as a barn - the owner of the museum, Autovaz, has more important problems now...

9 july 2007 - Such buses, called "Kuban'" (Кубань, the river in the south of Russia) were engineered by the Krasnodar Mechanical Factory in the beginning of 70's. The KMZ belonged to the Ministry of Culture, and the Kuban used to be a bus for theaters, "culture houses", museums and libraries. There were several versions of it: standart bus, movable library, movable club and some others. Later the engineering documentation was given to Budennovsk, to the auto-repair factory of agrocultural ministry. Production of these buses finished in 1993 at the two factories in Krasnodar and Budennovsk. According to some details, this Kuban was produced in Budennovsk as a "standart bus". Since 2005 it stayed on the street in stanitza Ессентукская, and later was scrapped as a "thrown away" bus.

15 august 2009 - Sfakianakis SS500/B100 at the territory of the local buspark, Mineral'niye Vody. The story of its appearment is dramatic: when the group of chechenian terrorists attacked the hospital in Budennovsk in 1995, the buses from all over the Stavropol region were taken - to bring additional federal forces and to evacuate peaceful citizen from the houses, close to the attacked hospital. Several buses were riddled with bullets, and two vehicles from МПАТП were totally destroyed by the terrorists weapons. To replace destroyed buses, next year the government brought two new Sfakianakises from Greece to Min-Vody. This bus is still alive, the second one was registered in the vehicle police department in 2007, but no one seen it - maybe, it was disassembled as a donor of the spare parts for this one. I haven't got any information about such buses in other Russian cities - maybe, only МПАТП got them.

Buses, produced in Yakhroma, besides of the colour scheme and the production year differ from the buses from Likino with other material upholstery seats - it is more matt and lighter. This bus stayed at its last parking for one year, robbed out by vandals - it is the reason of the really awful condition.

In Soviet epoch Lermontov was a secret town, where the uranium for the nuclear weapons and atomic electrostations was mined. The factory in the another Soviet secret town - Leninabad-30 (Chkalovsk, nowadays - Hodjant) in Tajikistan produced such buses on the ZIL chassis. Now the mines are explosed, Tajikistan is an independent country, and the local transport operator is more dead, then alive. The picture of the modern time...
