6 march 2010 - Moscow, Lobachevsky-street, GolAZ-AKA-6226 #08555. In the end of 90's bus plant in Golytsyno - then - a joint venture with Dailmler-Benz - attempted to produce Mercedeses-O405. AKA-5255 and AKA-6226 appeared at the wrong time: too few cities were able to buy new buses and german units made "Rossiyane's" too expensive. That's why GolAZ made less than 180 AKA's and stopped their production in 2002. Some people say, that several such "clones" still are not sold and stay at the factory...

20 august 2009 - Stavropol, near the railway station. One of 20 MAZ-103.465, bought by Stavropol authorities to cure the transport system of the city, seriously damaged by economical problems of nineties. Also, Stavropol is one of the first provincial cities of Russia, started to use low-floor buses on city lines.

The new leaders of the city, which came to power in 2008, decided to cure the city transport system: to do this, they've bought 40 low-floor buses from Belarus: 20 MAZ-103.465, 20 MAZ-206 and 40 new trolley-buses for Stavropol.

27 may 2007 - Yessentuki, Gayevsky-street, LAZ-695M #91-19 ссз. This bus stayed as a barn on the outskirts of the city for 21 years after its official "death", and was ineptly lost at the scrapyard. One restorer, who has seen its photos, said only one word about its condition: "Stalingrad".

It is hard to believe, but such buses of Kooptrans were the only ones, serving city routes during the "transport crysis" of 2006-2007 (of course, excluding "marshrutkas"). Even more difficult to believe that this picture is made in historical part of the city - this district isn't rebuilt, and that's why many old houses, built by cossacks even in XIX-th century, are still here.

31 august 2006 - Yessentuki, Internatzionalnaya street. RAF-2203 #Е 949 ВТ 26. RAF-2203 - the main "marshrutka" of USSR, which was the main vehicle type in public transport up to 2000's. This RAF worked on routes of local resort bus depot, and later was sold to the private owner.

26 july 2007 - Stanitza Yessentukskaya, "Kooptrans" bus depot. KAvZ-3270 # 6973 ССП in "kalashny row" - row of vehicles, which would be scrapped. After official decommission in 2006, this bus worked in march 2007 on elections to the regional parliament. I would like to note, that this bus, like other vehicles of Kooptrans, never belonged to them: all their buses belonged to schools and social organisations, but local authorities decided to start their route usage. For example, this KAvZ previously belonged to local children's sports school - you can see the "Children" scripture on it.

Buses from Mitchurinsk were the most short-lived in Mosgortrans: this one was re-eqiupped into the traffic safety bus only after 4 years of usage. Other MARZes of Mosgortrans are staying in buspark for long years - their work on city lines is impossible because of awful quality and ill-conceived design.
