8 november 1959 - Duesseldorf (DE) – Paulistrasse. The Rhein-Ruhr tramway network is still pretty impressive, but it was once the largest in the world, with countless standard- and metre-gauge tracks linking all the industrial towns and cities. Today, many have been upgraded to U-Bahn or S-Bahn operation.
