Parking tickes are bought in the machine, which accept only coins. For tourist better solution is closed by toll-bar parking lot. It is much easier to find a place, payment is collected by parking man (accepts notes and coins) and parking time is unlimited. At an average, parking in central areas and parking lots, costs 7 kuna.

Parkingi w miastach podzielone są z reguły na kilka stref (w Splicie 3) z różną opłatą za godzinę parkowania i maksymalnym czasem jednokrotnej opłaty postoju (np. do 2 godzin). Bilety parkingowe kupuje się w automatach przyjmujących wyłącznie monety. Dla turystów lepszym rozwiązaniem są parkingi zamykane szlabanem. Łatwiej jest na nich o miejsce, opłaty pobiera pan parkingowy (banknoty i monety), a czas postoju jest nieograniczony. Średnio za postój w centralnych strefach parkingowych i parkingach zamkniętych płaci się 7 kun za godzinę (nieco ponad 4 zł).
