5 june 2009 - Liege (BE) – museum Natalis. Liege has a very complicated tramway history – even after some companies had amalgamated, there were still three different operators on two track gauges. This German-built tram was supplied to the Tramways Est-Oest de Liege in 1908 and ran until 1954, when it became a works car with the T.U.L.E. company.

RELSE Type D tram #321
5 june 2009 - Liege (BE) – museum Natalis. These very large and imposing Type D bogie trams were built by la Brugeoise for RELSE in 1935 and were in service until the line closed in 1968.

19 september 2010 - Bruxelles/Brussel (BE) - Montgomery - avenue G & J Martin. UITP 125th Anniversary celebrations. The long Liege-Seraing interurban car squeezes round into Rue Du Doc. The Liege district once had three tramway systems and two trolleybus nets - I wish I'd seen them. Now there are some plans to bring trams back in Liege city.

19 september 2010 - Bruxelles/Brussel - Terveuren, Albertlaan. UITP 125 Years Anniversary - one amazing day. I photographed this nice interurban in the Natalis transport museum last year, but didn't realise it was still operational. Here it is in full flight along Bruxelles Line 44, having escaped for the weekend.

RELSE Type C tram #51
5 june 2009 - Liege (BE) – museum Natalis. The Liege-Seraing tramway (or RELSE) was one of the three separate systems in Liege and ran distinctive green trams on long suburban lines from the city centre until final closure in 1968. This four-wheeler dates from 1926 – love the eyebrows!
