Volvo Olympian / Northern Counties Palatine I #34062
4 august 2008 - Weymouth, Dorset, UK - Esplanade. Newer Olympians are badged as Volvo products, the Leyland company having been taken over by then. It was essentially the same 1980s bus, though. Just behind is a Dennis of the local Sureline company - I'll post some pictures of this fleet another day.

4 august 2008 - Weymouth, Dorset, UK - Esplanade. An open-top Olympian loads for the scenic and popular ride to Portland Bill - a very steep and demanding route for some of the older buses in the Weymouth fleet.

4 august 2008 - Weymouth, UK - Esplanade. One of the elderly open-top buses that run from Weymouth to the beauty spot of Portland Bill up some fearsome hills – they manage to (just about) get there though. No way to treat an old bus.
